If your numbers don't match the examples shown in the book but you have followed all steps exactly, don't try to change your numbers to match the book. This may be an issue in Figure 5-4 (the pivot table).

BTEC 169 (Excel) Students: As I mentioned in class on Thursday, July 2, one of my previous students is offering tutoring this summer on Thursdays from 8:00 - 2:00 p.m. (since our class starts at 1:00, you'll probably want to see him between 8 and 1) in HKH 102. Just ask for Ryan Cox; he'll be happy to help with your Excel questions. Of course, you can always check with me, too, with your questions. :-) Mary Evens

Course Description
We will create, edit, and print spreadsheets and graphs with hands-on instruction using Microsoft Excel 2007. Students will create and use Excel databases, and other Excel attributes. Through solving common business problems, students will see how and why technology is critical to business. A combination of lecture, demonstration, tutorial, and experiential instruction will be used.
